HodlGod Updates in Patch 1.0.4.1

Gamers!

Those of you playing HodlGod will already know to restart your game for it to update to the latest enhancements, but we wanted to share it with those few half-a-dozen people who haven’t been battling lately.

HodlGod is quickly getting better and better. You’ll need to restart to see all these, but there have been some major improvements and fixes since Patch 1.0.3.8 last month.

The Statistic Page

We’ve made significant changes to the Statistic page. You can now see your VOID token amount, your stats such as exp, kills, etc., and we added kills to the Statistic page.

Exp. Rewards

Exp rewards are capped at 30 per kill. Exp will be rewarded at death or at the end of a match, to discourage players from quitting early.

Other Changes

Abilities show cooldown in seconds. The sword and bow icon are no longer present, but mapped to the mouse wheel by default. A single tab jump is a normal jump and a double tab is a power jump. A power jump is a higher jump, but costs you more stamina.

There is now an option to invert the controller and sensitivity. Players can access the keybinding option in the main menu.

We have made some menu UI adjustments to add an SFX and music slider to adjust levels, and fixed the master slider so that it does not affect music.

We’ve added a re-queue button. The re-queue button returns players to the main menu to look for another match automatically. We have also added a dynamic floating number to indicate damage dealt to other players.

We have enhanced the storm sphere code (battle royale bound). Barrage arrows now fire more slowly. Explosives are also slowed down. We enhanced the arrow network position syncing code and the spawn system code.

Heal ability now gives players immunity from sword damage effects (slowed down).

Fixes

We’ve lowered the footstep sound on the local player. We’ve removed the camera shake when dealing damage to other players. We fixed the Dungeon map out of bounds exploit and fixed the issue of arrows getting stuck in a player’s left hand.

The crosshair alignment issue has also been fixed.

NFTs, Collectibles, Raffles

All collectibles, raffles, and NFTs are required to be held to the end of the match to win them. We added a 3rd collectible NFT item, which only those wearing a Bounty Contract can collect.

Collectible items now stack visually.
